The relationships God gives us are meant to bless us with joy, with companionship, and with opportunities to give and receive love. They also represent openings for us to help the people around us receive some of the blessings God has poured into our lives.
Love compels us to share, to help, to comfort, and to point our friends and neighbors to whatever good we know. As people redeemed and reconciled to God in Jesus Christ, the greatest good we know is this God we know as Father. What a blessing it is to know his faithfulness, his devotion, his forgiveness, his mercy, his love, and his plans for our future. We have so many things to be thankful for.
This morning, I’ll continue our new series on “Sharing Jesus” by talking about what we have to share with the people around us. It’s a message of truth. It’s also an experience born out of love and motivated by our own extreme gratitude for what Jesus has done for us. I hope and pray that you’ll be blessed by our time in worship together as we encourage one another and give all glory, honor, and praise to the one true Father of us all.
God bless,
Patrick Barber, preaching minister
