We hope you and your teen(s) are having a great start to the year! We’re excited to invite you to our Devo night this Friday, January 13th from 6-8 PM. Just make sure they have dinner first – we’ve got snacks covered. We’ll have a Devo, play some games, and start planning our February service project.
Speaking of February, we’ll be hosting a dinner and entertainment event on February 11th to show our love and appreciation for our church community. This event is open to the entire church, and we’d love for your teen to be a part of it! If they’re available to serve from 5-9 PM on February 11th, please let us know by this Thursday.
This Friday’s Devo night is open to everyone, regardless of their availability for the February event. We hope to see your teen there!
This Wednesday, we’ll be diving into the parable of the Wedding Feast in Matthew 22:1-14. Please encourage your teen to read ahead or read it together!
RSVP by replying back to this email or by texting John (860-726-8688) or Gail (860-726-8897) If any parents would like to stay on Friday, you’re welcome!
There is a youth activity planned for January 22nd after Bible classes as well. Right now, the teens have suggested bowling, but we’re still taking suggestions. Just save the date and email any suggestions you have! The event will run from 12PM until at least 3PM.
We know that these events require effort and time on everyone’s part but participating in church youth group events can be an important and enriching part of a young person’s spiritual journey. It offers an opportunity to connect with others who share similar values, learn more about their faith, and engage in meaningful service projects. Youth group events can provide a sense of community and belonging and can be a great way for young people to develop their leadership skills as they grow in their relationship with God.
