Seasonal Sharing 2025
As we enter this season of generosity and compassion, we’re excited to invite everyone to participate in our church-wide Seasonal Sharing efforts. There are two meaningful ways to be involved this year.
1. OAKS Ministry – Christmas Gifts for Foster Children
Our OAKS Ministry is hosting a special Christmas for several foster children, and we’ve been blessed with over 19 names provided by Amaris Burton.
In the foyer, you’ll find a display with numbered envelopes, each containing a child’s name, age, and a few suggested gift ideas. These suggestions are simply that, suggestions. Please feel free to purchase what you feel is appropriate and joyful to give.
How to participate:
- Choose an envelope from the foyer display.
- Sign your name on the sheet next to the number on your envelope.
- Please include your name, email, and phone number.
- Return all wrapped gifts to the church by December 7th.
This deadline ensures we have time to deliver everything to Amaris so she can get the gifts to the children.
If you have any questions, please see Nancy Volkert or Beth Courtney.
2. December 14th – Seasonal Sharing Potluck & Giving Event
We will conclude our Seasonal Sharing season with a congregation-wide potluck lunch immediately after Bible classes on Sunday, December 14th.
This will be a special opportunity to:
- Donate grocery or gas gift cards that will be used to bless individuals and families in our congregation throughout the year. (Increments of $25 are recommended)
- Bring non-perishable food items for our local food bank.
Potluck assignments are by last name, so if your last name begins with:
- A–H: Please bring a main dish to share (enough for 12 people please)
- I–R: Please prepare side dishes (please make enough for 12 people)
- S–Z: You have the desserts! (12 servings, or more! You know we love dessert!)
If you have any questions, please see John or Gail Bouffard.
