Meet the Author
Imagine Having a Conversation with the Author of Life. What would you discuss with the divine creator who provides everything we need in His word? As we explore God’s Book, we’ll discover a beautiful beginning, a plot of love and purpose, and a promise of eternal life.
We may never meet an author in this life but we will all meet the Author of Life, and what a read it is.
“Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” Genesis 2:7
“Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of life in them came to Noah and entered the ark.” Genesis 7:15
The one who created and breathed life into all living things, invites us to know Him. “Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:10
We will all be called to meet this Author.
“Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
The Author provides everything we need in His Book; Psalms, songs, truth, and hope. We once again see God’s intimacy with us as He shares His Word with us.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” 2 Timothy 3:16
I encourage you to deepen your connection with God, the Creator of all, by immersing yourself in His word, reflecting on His plan, and embracing His promises and purpose.
The ending is the sweetest message of all, and it is good to sneak a peek. He has prepared a room for all who love and obey him.
“There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” John 14:2-3
“‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” Revelation 21:4
To prepare for meeting the Author, read His Book.
