Limit: Embracing the Boundless Compassion of God.
The Bible reminds us that God, who has named every star, also heals our emotional pain and tends to our wounds. His power and knowledge have no limit, and He works tirelessly on our behalf. “He counts the stars and names each one.” He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. Our Lord is great and very powerful. There is no limit to what he knows.” Ps 147:3,4,5
There is also no limit to God’s time. Jesus said, “My Father is always working, and so am I.” John 5:17
“The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Exodus 14:14
“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” I John 3:1 (No limit to His love)
Who needs your encouragement without limit? Paul instructs us to, “Encourage each other with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord. Always give thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:19-20
God did not send His prophet Elijah a preacher when he was depressed, nor did He condemn him for his negative thoughts, instead, God sent an Angel to comfort him. 1 Kings 19
God has no limit to His strength, to His time, or to His love. In difficult moments, trust God and extend yourself kindness without limit as He does. Likewise, when others around us are struggling, we are to be a source of comfort to them, and only limit our criticism, and judgment.
Lavish others with our love, our strength, and our time. We are commanded to love God and each other without limit. Matt. 22:37-39
