If you have a matter or situation you regard as unwelcome or harmful, it needs to be dealt with and overcome; you are dealing with a problem. If more than one, you are dealing with problems, and they tend to run in packs.
The Bible tells us where we need to take problems & with Whom we are to leave them. “I cry out to the Lord; I pray to the Lord for mercy. I pour out my problems to him; I tell him my troubles. When I am afraid, you, Lord, know the way out. “You are my protection. You are all I want in this life.” Psalm 142:1-3,5
“The Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need.” Psalm 23:1
God covers our wants and our needs. What we withhold from God will wear on our hearts and affect our emotional, physical, and most importantly, spiritual health. What problems are you trying to work out on your own? Lay them down at Jesus’ feet and do not pick them back up.
As we approach the polls next week, do not worry so much about the problems the candidates debate; focus more on the issues, do your due diligence, exercise your freedom and privilege to cast your vote in safety, and respect others to do the same. As with all that concerns us, give it to the One that nothing is too hard for, our God. In return, He will give you peace that passes all understanding.
“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
Remember this: There is no problem too hard for God; with Him, all things are possible. Our problems are in good, capable, and powerful hands when we give them to the Creator of all.
No problem!
