Who or what claims authority over our life, claims our inner power.
Acknowledging the Lord’s reign will help us rely on His strength, and not rely on earthly powers for our salvation.
Trust in the Lord, our rock, and praise His eternal guidance. To trust in anything else is a waste of time as there is no other power that can match that of the Creator of all.
Satan hates God. He wants life’s distractions, interruptions & disappointments to take our focus off the One who reigns forever, the Lord our God. Jesus says it best in John 10:10, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” Not just life, but life to the full!
Do not allow Satan to drain your power; rather draw power from the Holy Spirit who God places in you. “Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s temple and that the Spirit of God lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is holy, and that is what you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
“Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns. The world is firmly established; it cannot be shaken. He judges all people fairly.” Psalms 96:10
“Do not put your trust in princes or other people, who cannot save you.”Psalm 146:3
“The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord!” Psalm 146:10
God was, is, and always will be the One who reigns. My trust is in Him.
