What is faith?
The world’s description is complete trust or confidence in someone or something. Did you know that even fear is faith?
The Bible’s definition is found in Hebrews 11:1. Faith is, “Confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”. It is defined as trust and belief in God and His promises, even though we cannot physically see God or understand how He is working. Read the full chapter to see the honor our God gives to those who live by faith. You will want to join them. The beautiful truth is, that none were perfect people. They were all flawed and yet were listed in Faith’s Hall of Fame.
“Abram believed the Lord. And the Lord accepted Abram’s faith, and that faith made him right with God.” Genesis 15:6
Want to know the God of Abraham? Read His love letter to you; the Bible. It is His deepest desire that it be read and believed. It is through one’s belief and obedience that makes them right with God. Our faith in God can make us right with Him just as it did for Abram.
Being right with God begins and ends with one’s complete confidence and faith in Him being the One who is good, just, and true.
Those who are right with God will live by faith, and faith conquers fear. Romans 1:7
My complete faith is in someone vs. something, and His name is God.
