Good afternoon, Church! Friday’s here, and the weather outside is beautiful.
This is a very full weekend for our church family. We have the “Third Annual Free Tag Sale” that begins tomorrow morning at 8:00am (earlier if you want to come and help set things up). You didn’t have to sign up in order to show up and help. We always need hospitable people to welcome our guests and help out wherever needed.
This Sunday is our “Friends Day” as well as our Memorial Day Picnic. Please invite your friends and neighbors to worship, classes, and then the picnic. Bring chairs and side items or deserts to share for the picnic. We’ll provide the rest.
These special opportunities for fellowship, worship, and community-building can help us in our God-given mission to bring him glory as we show our neighbors the love of Jesus. Please don’t let the opportunity pass you by. We don’t know when Jesus will return, but we do trust that he is coming again to raise the dead, achieve his final victory over sin, and judge the world. We want to help as many people be prepared for that day as possible.
I’m incredibly excited to see what God will do through our humble efforts to be salt and light in our communities. Lord willing, I’ll see you soon. It’s Friday, but Sunday’s coming!
