It’s Friday, but Sunday’s coming!
Hello, Church. Easter, or Resurrection Sunday, is rapidly approaching (April 21). We’ll have lots of extra guests with us for worship that morning, and I hope you’re continuing to pray for your “one name” of someone who has drifted away from our fellowship. This is an opportune time to invite them back again, but don’t wait until Easter to offer someone an invitation to worship God and fellowship with His family. Invite them over for dinner. Go out together for coffee. Invite them into whatever things you enjoy doing, because life is better when we share it.
And, another thing. Make sure you don’t become one of those names we need to pray for. Don’t let yourself drift. Stay connected to the body of Christ and continue to use your gifts in serving the church. When you’re doing that, each Sunday becomes a blessing, because each Sunday is resurrection Sunday. Each Sunday is the opportune time to gather with other believers and give praise to God who made us, saved us, and sustains us by his power and love. There’s never a better place to be on Sunday than with God’s family. I truly hope and pray to see you this Sunday.
God bless, Patrick
