I hope and pray you’ve had a good week and that you’re standing strong in the faith. As Jesus said, “Don’t let your hearts be troubled.” He helps us carry our burdens, and he gives us strength and comfort through his Spirit. In my experience, the greatest access to the encouragement we need is found when the church gathers together for worship and mutual edification. God designed the church to be a new family, a new community, a unified holy place where we encounter God together. So, as you plan your weekend, be sure to make worship a priority. Spend time in the Word. Communicate with your Father in prayer. And then be sure to gather with your church family on Sunday.

I’m working on a sermon that I hope will help us to see more clearly in a confusing time. I hope it will help us think more like Jesus. My prayer is that God will use our time together to challenge us and teach us (again) to do to others what we wish they’d do to us. I’m praying for you today, that God will give you strength, peace, grace, and the ability to feel his presence.

See you Sunday,
Patrick
